About me
I am a qualified counsellor based in Sheffield offering open-ended counselling sessions to adults. I am primarily based in Stocksbridge but I can also work from Hillsborough. I work with clients both face-to-face and via telephone or video call.
Whatever you are going through, I will offer you a listening ear and my full attention. We will explore your concerns together and I will not judge you or tell you what to do. My approach is to provide you with a safe space where you can feel free to open up and explore your feelings in a confidential environment. We will talk about whatever you want to talk about - you will be empowered to lead your own sessions.

Credentials
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by the BACP’s Ethical Framework (2018) which is a code of conduct that ensures I work ethically and safely.

Qualifications
In 2018 I completed a BSc in Psychology with Counselling with 1st class honours. My research into the benefits of person-centred counselling was then published in The European Journal of Qualitative Research in Psychotherapy (Vol 9, 2019).
I have also completed the following courses:
- CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
- CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
- CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Experience
Throughout my training, I completed placements at multiple counselling agencies which provided me with experience working with a range of clients and presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, family problems, and relationship difficulties among other issues.
I currently work part-time for a charity supporting people experiencing poor mental health and suicidal ideation. I also have experience in providing emotional and practical support for survivors of sexual abuse.
