The type of therapy I offer is known as person-centred counselling. This is simply a therapeutic approach that puts the client at the heart of everything. You are given the freedom to choose what you want work on and what might be the best outcome, all in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space.
Some examples of things we might focus on include might focusing on using your own strengths and insight about yourself to encourage personal growth and improve relationships.
The person-centred approach is based on the work of Carl Rogers who pioneered Humanistic Counselling. He believed every human, given the right conditions, has the innate capacity to reach their full potential.
I am passionate about helping others to achieve better mental health and well being. I believe that you can make a difference in how you live your life.
It’s not always easy to navigate the challenges of life and you may need help. You may not be quite ready but by talking things through you might realise you would like to start taking control of certain areas of your life.
Above all I want to support and help you to feel better, find more peace of mind, and realise your ability to reach your full potential.
